Google Gboard v7.8 : App Prepared for Voice Type Enhancement, Search History Clear & More Features

Google Gboard got new update, v7.8. But I haven't seen any new features or major change in the app in this update. From the APK teardown, researcher have found many new enhancements and changes we expect in the near features in the app features and functionalities.

1 : Clipboard Manager Tweaks:

Android Police's researchers are working on last few updates of Gboard and some new tweaks for Clipboard manager. Which is live now for some users. But later they found that Google have revoked the features from all users, It's possible that it was either unfinished, or simply not polished enough for a proper introduction.

Below 2 lines in code indicate the compatibility enhancement of the UI. This new code will add the section titles for recent and older clippings.

2 : New Language Support :

This is the most expected enhancement and feature in the app. It's about enhancing the app compatibility with more languages & for more users who are speaking different languages.

3 : Search History Delete Feature :

The built-in search feature on Gboard is just like any Google search field, but sometimes it feels a little lacking compared to some of the other places you'll find it. Even so, some basic features should be available, but one particular gap has been around for a while. You can't easily delete your search history from Gboard. However, that's going to be changing. An option to clear your search history appears to be in the works.

Inbuilt, Search feature of the Gboard app sometimes make app performance bit low. As there is not option yet in the app to remove the app search history. But this handy feature is on the way to come in the app. Yes, New search history clearing option in the app is about to be appears in next few updates.
